For the sake of perceptual simplicity let us assume that melodies generated by this program could be heard.
The program principles allow even those people who are not well informed about music and it's rules easily use the program. Everyone can generate
a melody (let us name it "play") by only clicking "Generate" button. The play consists of eight bars (tacts) with notes leading the melodic line. It means
that no chords or any kind of arrangement can be ever heard while listening to the generated plays.
The resulting play is supposed to help composers and musicians but cannot be considered as the musical "product" that you can record on CD etc. This
generator can only give an idea of composing and maybe some kind of amusement.
The process of sound scoring is directly related to MIDI. So in case you don't have any midi output you won't be able to hear anything.
Every generation ends after generation file is created in the folder mentioned. There are cases of failure generation when no
file created due to inner program impossibility to generate next group of notes. |
